Uongozi Bora Alumni

The East Africa Youth Leadership & Citizenship Programme “Uongozi Bora” is a programme run by The DEPOT and supported by The Ford Foundation. The programme has been running for the last 5 years and we have so far run five successful programmes supported by Ford Foundation. To date, 200 youth around East Africa, have been strengthened by this programme.

This alumni is intended to provide a voice to the young leaders and will enable them to:

• Lobby for leadership, good citizenship, youth matters, and for their communities;
• Raise funds to support current initiatives and to do new projects together;
• Promote their development activities
• Share ideas and experiences thus support each other in their various initiatives
