Rajeet Shah has over 25 years of professional experience and is an industry-wide specialist and has worked with entities in the healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, real estate, oil and gas, education, retail, insurance, information technology, agriculture, fund management and non-governmental sectors among others.
Rajeet sits on the boards of companies in diverse industry sectors as an independent & non-executive director or advisor and provides other consultancy services to various organizations in East Africa and beyond. He has been involved in facilitating the strategy retreats and subsequent reviews and growing the profits and cashflows of organizations, setting up succession planning structures, tax planning, conducting business health checks & internal audit assessments, securing borrowing facilities for entities from various financial institutions and enabling sustainable business by developing win-win partnerships between business stakeholders and including customers, suppliers, employees, financial institutions & revenue authorities among others.
He is a member of the Institute of Directors (Kenya), Institute of Internal Auditors & Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants and has a Bachelors in Accounting & Management Science from the University of Kent, Canterbury. He also completed the 11-month Sirdar Applied Directorship Program between June 2019 and May 2020.
He has previously held senior positions with reputable organizations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Rajeet was elected and served among advisory committee at Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Kenya between April 2017 and April 2019. He has been an active member of the Infrastructure Committee and Environment Committees at Kenya Association of Manufacturers since August 2016 and March 2018 respectively. He has been invited to conduct public speaking engagements at the ACCA Kenya and Kenya Association of Manufacturing events.
Rajeet has travelled to over 30 countries in the world and enjoys interacting with people of various cultures. He loves inspirational leadership and has attended live events hosted by Stephen M.R. Covey, Robin Sharma, John Maxwell, Shiv Khera, Rowan Gibson and Brian Tracy among other great leaders.
